AWIA is a not-for-profit organisation that relies on your membership. It can’t exist without the support of its members, so you can help AWIA award incredible work and host inspiring events by becoming a member today. Or, if you’re already a member, help us encourage others with a keen interest in the web industry to join.

AWIA membership is determined by the size of your business. Take a look at the following categories and when you’re ready, join using the form at the bottom of the page.

I’m a business owner

AWIA Business Membership is open to companies, businesses and freelancers who make their primary income from the web. The category (and price) of Business membership depends on the number of full-time employees (or equivalent in contractor payments) covered.

* Can include FT students and members

** For the purpose of calculating membership fees, part-time staff can be aggregated to full-time equivalents:

An employee who works 35 hours a week or more is a full-time employee
An employee who works 15 hours to 38 hours a week is a part-time employee
Three 15-21 hour a week part-timers equals one full-timer
Two 22-38 hour a week part-timers equals one full-timer

I’m an employee

AWIA Individual Membership is open to employees of web businesses and people with an interest in the web who wish to support AWIA.

The price of Individual membership is $50 a year.

I’m a student

AWIA Student Membership is open to full-time students studying multimedia, web or IT. 

The price of Student membership is $25 a year.

Contact Details

Membership will be prorated on a monthly basis from the 1st of July each year, for example if you join in January you will recieve a 50% discount but will be chanrged again in June for the next year.
